Is there anyone in Nebraska that still wants Callahan to remain as head coach? Now even students are writing books to accelerate the process.

A Nebraska student (writer for newspaper), Jonathan Crowl, is releasing a book early November chronicling the downfall of NU football. Sounds slightly over dramatized, but in it are several comments made by Bill Callahan towards former coach, current interim AD, and full-time God in Nebraska Tom Osborne. Namely referring to Tom as a "crusty, old f***."

This would seem like an excessive amount of work, when all that would be needed is a link to the Nebraska football media guide. In particular the pages that outline the Cornhuskers W-L record and defensive statistics since Frank Solich was incorrectly fired.

True or not, this is turning into quite the entertaining soap opera in Lincoln.

Oh man, Osborne is a god in Husker country.  Anyone wanna take a bet on Callahan getting fired before the year is out?

I'm not a Nebraska fan or anything but it just doesn't seem right watching them run the West Coast offense.  I miss the powerhouse backfield and the option QBs.  I wonder if Husker fans feel the same way.

I am not a fan either, but you are absolutely right.  Bring back the old school offense, if not melt the two style together and create a new style of offense.

No one is going to get fired, till the season is over.  Dr tom already said that.

I think Callahan will be gone, along with most of the staff. Cosgrove may be the worst defensive coordinator in the entire nation as he stubbornly continues using the same defensove formation every play of every week even though it has not stopped anyone. This is a pathetic situation for a great program to be in. Bring back Bo!

I have heard that Bo, is coming back right after the cu game.  And that Tom Rathman is coming too.  So who knows.
