Colorado Buffaloes Upset Oklahoma Sooners: IT'S THE BIG TWELVE!!! Photo
Not getting that third week of summer vacation is starting to pay off for Dan Hawkins' Buffaloes.

Colorado upset Oklahoma 27-24 on a "walk-off" field goal. Chase McBride has a big 31 yard punt return to get the Buffs in scoring position.Wow. Just Wow.

The Sooners offensive juggernaut emphasized the "naut" portion today, accumulating only 234 total offense. A shocker, one that must be attributed to looking ahead to Texas next weekend. I think we call this a "trap game."

Great win for Dan Hawkins and getting Colorado back to respectability. A 1-loss team still has a chance at a national title, so it's not completely out the door for Oklahoma.

So my calendar is a bit off; a break would be nice

Bad enough I'm seeing almost every single team I picked losing right now...

A one loss Sooners won't get to play for the National Title. That was a rough game out there today. Needless to say I am pretty bummed out, the only thing that is making me feel any better is that Texas is loosing.

its Texas 21  KSU 27. K-State might be saving OU's a** again!

OU wins out the Big 12, they still go to the national championship. Come on K-State!

Was Malcolm Kelly hurt or what? The announcers didn't say his name one time today.

+1 thumbs upDoubtful. There are too many good teams this year...and it only takes 2.

Either LSU or Florida will most likely finish undefeated.
Either USC or Cal will most likely finish undefeated.
Either Wisconsin or Ohio State will most likely finish undefeated.
Boston College may finish undefeated.

That's 7 teams that are in the top 10 right now, and up to 4 of them could finish undefeated. I thought OU was a much better team than they showed today, but I think their NC hopes took a HUGE nosedive.

I don't know. I saw him play, but I really don't know.

nice way to beat up a man who is down. It seems like everyone is losing today anyways. So I don't feel as bad.

I wasn't trying to do that. But here's a suggestion: Look at the bright side. If all of those teams except for Boston College lose, then maybe BC will have a shot at playing in the National Championship game. Wouldn't that be great?

That would be fine, but as a Boston College fan, I try to be a little more optimistic...

And I don't see South Florida making it out of Louisville AND Rutgers alive and undefeated.

Louisville yes. Rutgers, I don't know.

South Florida's a very good team, but I think they'll lose one of those games.

If everyone keeps loosing at this pace there will be several 1 loss teams instead of several undefeated teams like we all thought before today/last night.

If the top teams keep losing at this pace, we might be seeing a South Florida/Connecticut matchup for all the marbles.  lol

So, who else had as much red as I did in the polls today?

There is still alot of football to play and anything can happen.  LSU plays Florida,  USC plays Cal and Oregon,  Ohio St plays Michigan and the list goes on the point is it is possible for more upsets to happen.  Oklahoma needs to beat Texas win out and see how the chips fall.  All hope is not lost.

We needed Texas to win now we will be beating a much lower ranked team which wont help us get any higher in the polls.Hopefully Colorado will win the north and we will get revenge on them in the title game

I seriously doubt Colorado will go on to win the north.  At this point I would favor Kansas ST.
