NBA Playoff Triple Threat
Jazz, Spurs Continue Home Dominance

Every day during the NBA playoffs, the Triple Threat will break down the latest action as we get closer to awarding the Larry O'Brien Trophy.Utah 123, LA Lakers 115 Utah blew a 12 point lead late, but played tough defense in overtime to save their season. The Lakers could only manage two field goals in the extra time, partially thanks to two huge blocks by Andrei Kirilenko on Kobe Bryant. Kobe, however, was visibly pained from a back injury. He still finished with 33 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists. The Laker bench, though, was outscored 39-16, and this time around, it was the Jazz with the big advantage in getting to the free throw line, 45-25. The end result is a series tied at 2 heading back to Los Angeles.
San Antonio 100, New Orleans 80 The Hornets big lead is gone, as Tim Duncan and Tony Parker scored at will. The pair combined to shoot 18-25 from the field, most of inside as Parker frequently knifed through the paint. The Hornets couldn't make enough shots, shooting just 37 percent in the first three quarters. As such, it was all San Antonio, who ended taking the lead for good with 8:36 left...in the first quarter when Parker made it 6-4. This series is also now tied at 2, and while the Hornets certainly aren't out of it given home court advantage, the last thing they (and everyone who isn't a Spurs fan) wanted to do was let the Spurs back in it.
