NFL Training Camp News: Michael Vick's Day in Court PhotoNow that several teams have reported and donned full pads, it's time for some daily updates on the news stories that aren't big enough for their own posts ...

Someone is actually live-blogging Michael Vick's Day in court. He's scheduled to appear around 3:30 ET. I don't suspect too much substantial news stemming from this court date, merely his innocent plea and awaiting a further court date.

Football Outsiders has an interesting piece tracking the Quarterbacks who had the most overthrown and underthrown passes. Hey, guess who was #1 on leading his receivers too far (aka - wingin' it!)? No not Grossman, surprising I know. Brett Favre. Who threw the most bad passes? Eli Manning!

JaMarcus Russell is holding up everyone's contract. Calvin Johnson is waiting patiently.

Two days into the Mike Tomlin Era, my new favorite CBS "expert" is predicting Big Ben to air it out and air it well and the Steelers into the playoffs.  Two words - Pro.Bowl. (comments section is going to get ugly in 3 ... 2 ... 1).

More news on Vick is anything important comes out. Until then, discuss.

It's funny how timid these teams are when trying to sign top draft picks. Why not just pay a guy what he's worth? Why is everyone so afraid to set the market? It's not like these are the first draft picks ever to sign a contract...
