Nightly Q: Who'll Put Up More Points? Barack Obama or Eric Gordon
by CriticalFanatic
1/9/08

We're introducing a slightly new regular feature you should count on every day. Your place to discuss tonight's important (and sometimes not so much) sporting events and rounding up some of the day's best blogs from around the 'sphere .

Unless you're a political junkie tonight doesn't offer much in the way of compelling television. We officially turn the page on college football and turn our eyes to hoops and try to turn off the sound on this Roger Clemens mess.

NCAA
Indiana at Michigan (7, ESPN); Wichita State at Missouri State (7, ESPN2); Florida at Alabama (9, ESPN) - Eric Gordon points or Barack Obama % of votes in NH -- which will be greater? Barack could probably drop double figures on the Wolverines defense right now.
NBA Houston at Washington (7, NBATV)
NHL Colorado at Detroit (7:30 Versus) - Wouldn't Hockeytown make a great place for the next outdoor game, with the natural opponent being the Avs?

One of Hillary Clinton's campaign advisers looks like Al Franken in drag. In fact, for a good 5 minutes, I was convinced MSNBC had Al Franken reporting from New Hampshire.

I have no idea. I think a lot of, please don't get mad ladies, irrationally thinking women saw the debate on Saturday and thought that Obama & Edwards were "picking" on Hilary and they came out with a "You go girl" style attitude to show that they won't sit back and let those big mean men pick on our gal.

Yeah, I'm just stunned right now.  I know she seemed human (for once) yesterday when she cried, but I figured most would look at it as her being weak.  I know its gotta be hell being on the campaign trail, but its not going to get any easier as president.  Super Tuesday is going to be awfully interesting.
