Siena Saints Treat Tampa Bay Fans To Yet Another Upset
>7 days ago
Safe to say it was a good Friday of basketball in Tampa Bay. Fans at the St. Pete Times forum were stealing money. 12-seed Western Kentucky beats Drake on a buzzer beating 25-foot three. Check.
13-seed San Diego beats Big East beat UConn with a fade-a-way game winner with a second left. Check.
Well about another 13-seed rolling over one of the SEC's better teams in Vanderbilt. The only trouble with this upset is that it wasn't really that close. Siena led by double digits for most of the night.
Tay Fisher was the player to watch out for, and he still had 19 points on 6-6 shooting from outside, but Kenny Hasbrouck doubled his season average with 30.
This might have been a little more surprising if it didn't seem like Siena was the better team all night. This wasn't even the last of the fun in Tampa tonight.
Siena 83, Vanderbilt 62
