It's been a pretty interesting month for little-known Wizards shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson. He called LeBron overrated, has since been worked by King James in the Cavs/Wizards series, and he's even had Jay-Z write a diss rap about him.

You'd think that's about all the exposure he'd want, since he's about to get knocked out of the playoffs. But you'd be wrong.

In a move that could only be described as bold - or utterly asinine - Stevenson walked into the team hotel before tonight's Game 5 wearing a Michael Vick jersey.

As AJ Dauliero at Deadspin said: "His OJ Simpson jersey was in the wash."

Anyway, I'm shocked that a guy who makes throat slashing gestures, has bullet holes tattooed onto his skin, and was once charged with raping a 14-year-old girl would do something like this. Seems so out of character, doesn't it?

Anyway, if you want even more sarcasm on Stevenson, Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post, who covers the Wizards, has it in spades.

I hope Stevenson's enjoyed this month, because as soon as the playoffs end, he going to fade back into obscurity really fast. And that's most certainly a good thing.
