Suzyn Waldman Cries On-air After Yankees Eliminated from Postseason, Even John Sterling Was Surprised
10/9/07
I'm sure you remember Suzyn Waldman during the Roger Clemens live announcement from Yankee Stadium, screaming that this was the greatest moment ever. For someone whose perspective is so far off, you probably wouldn't be surprised to know she was in tears last night following the Yankees loss to Cleveland. Listening to this I would have thought Joe Torre informed Suzyn of a terminal illness.

Even John Sterling was trying to help her understand it wasn't really that bad. I respect her passion, but there's only a couple instances where crying on-air is acceptable, simply losing a game is not one of them.
