Blake Hoffarber Hits Miracle Shot, Minnesota Upsets Indiana
by CriticalFanatic
3/15/08

Remember the high school basketball player from Minnesota who hit the ridiculous game winning shot laying on the floor for the state championship. That was Blake Hoffarber who clearly has a flair for the dramatic as he's done it again Christian Laettner style.

Madness.

Now either the Gophers or Illinois Fighting Illini will play for the Big Ten Championship. Sweet.

Some other games of note ...

Michigan State 67, Ohio State 60 Buckeyes should still be in. Good news for the Spartans is that Drew Neitzel went off for 28. That'll be needed again this afternoon vs Wisconsin.

Arkansas 81, Vanderbilt 75 Welcome to the dance, hogs.

St. Joseph's 61, Xavier 53 Hawks should be in as well.

Georgetown 72, West Virginia 55 I think we're seeing the Hoyas team capable of another Final Four run.

Pittsburgh 68, Marquette 61 Another rematch in the Big East final. Starting to consider the Panthers for a deeper tourney run than expected.
