Charles Barkley Owes Vegas Casino $400,000
"I'm A Dumbass" Has Added Meaning for Sir Gambling Debt
|
by |
Charles Barkley has a gambling problem. This we know. He also has a problem with paying off his gambling debts.
The Las Vegas Sun is reporting today that the Wynn Casino filed a lawsuit this morning to order Sir Charles to pay back the $400,000 the casino offered him last year. We can assume he wasted those gambling markers faster than it took him to race up and down the court against Dick Bavetta.
Barkley has admitted to losing around $10 million dollars in gambling losses. Coincidentally, he also admitted to being a dumbass during a TNT broadcast.
The district attorney has stated that they will afford Charles the opportunity to pay back the debt before facing any felony charges.
Whether it's golfing or gambling, the Round Mound of Rebound has proved to be right about at least one thing - he's not a role model.
Update: Barkley says he's not broke and will pay his debt.
