ESPN NFL Countdown's 10-year-old Jason Krause Less Annoying Than Tiki Barber
by CriticalFanatic
9/10/07

Unsurprisingly, ESPN's 10-year-old addition to its NFL Countdown was far less annoying than Tiki Barber on Sunday. Here's Jason Krause's (any relation to Jerry? He's from Chicago) segment titled Taking it to the House.

Then here's Tiki Barber with John Madden and Al Michaels after the game, which was actually the least annoying portion of Barber's Sunday. What's up with the "we" references to the Giants, Tiki?

At this point, I'm hoping he does decide to go back and play so I can watch Sunday Night Football in peace.

As always, tip of the cap to Awful Announcing.

I was watching the end of the Giants/Cowboys game with my roommate; and I kept saying to him, "He does know hes not on that team anymore, right??"

I actually sincerely wondered to myself "is he a team representative now, or is he supposed to be unaffiliated?"

I mean, they have Jerome on there too, but he will atleast call it his "old" team and "my old guys" when talking the Steelers, and thats not close to what Tiki did.

Wondering what anybodies thought of when his "comeback" will be...honestly, I cant see him staying out of the NFL long...

Do you think he'll go back and play for the Giants if when Coughlin is gone? Or do you think he's blowing smoke? Or maybe he'll play for another team...

I don't know - last season when he announced his upcoming retirement it seemed like he was adamant about being "over" football and wanting to pursue a different career; and then he makes the comment about Coughlin being the reason for his loss of love for the game. It seems like he's either making excuses and forgot what he said last year, or he's changed his mind about being done.

I really don't know whether or not it would be with the Giants being Coughlin-less. I just never thought Tiki would be leaving so soon, and don't think he will be gone long either.

Another team? Sure...anyone who wants a good, non-injury prone, running back for over 1,000 yards every season.
