McDonald's All-American Game: USC's Demar DeRozan Wins Dunk Contest
3/26/08
The McDonald's All-American game, an annual defensive exhibition featuring the nation's best high-schoolers, will be taking place tonight in Milwaukee.
While the game itself could easily be confused with a dunk contest, the actual dunking competition happened last night.
Compton's Demar Derozan wowed everyone, including Julius Erving, with this ridiculous assortment of dunks. The SoCal start will be headed to USC next season.
I haven't seen any of his actual game film, but Rivals.com ranks him as the #1 shooting guard in the country. Should OJ Mayo decide to stay, you'd have to like the Trojans odds of redeeming themselves in the NCAA Tournament. If he leaves, Tim Floyd is still in pretty good shape.
Tonight's game is at 9:30 on ESPN. Defense, defense, defense all the time.
