Pittsburgh Beats Duke on Levance Fields 3-Point Dagger
12/21/07
ONIONS!! What a great game last night with a clutch 3-point shot in the final seconds of overtime from Levance Fields. He followed up his dagger with nearly kicking his coach's head off. Duke has been the team making a lot of positive impressions during this pre-conference stage of college hoops but I was clearly underestimated Jamie Dixon's Panthers. I'm now aboard the fan club for Pitt freshman DeJuan Blair.

I'd be remiss if I didn't point out my alma mater's big win on the road against our founder's beloved institution. Better luck next year, Ty!

Jeremy Pargo had a huge night (28 pts) for the Zags but didn't have a whole lot of help. The Sooners had solid contributions from the best name in hoops Longar Longar, Blake Griffin and Tony Crocker. Can't quite figure either of these two teams out. Both capable of beating a top 10 team ... both capable of losing to a 100+ team.
