If Only He Was Pitching to Third Base
I somehow forgot to include these two unbelievable throws in the MLB Walk-Off below, but on second and third viewing I believe it deserves it's own post.
Rick Ankiel lost the ability to hit a catcher's mit over home plate long ago, but what he hasn't lost is his cannon. Nor his accuracy, so long as the target is third base.
Check out these two absurd throws from deep center field, and then at the wall in the deepest part of Coors field.
Both hit the absolute perfect spot in front of the base without touching the ground. Seriously, those are two of the best throw outs I've ever seen and they happened by the same player, in the same game. Oh, and he hit a home run to boot.
