Syracuse's Arinze Onuaku: Worst Free Throw Ever
by CriticalFanatic
3/26/08

How did John Calipari completely miss the boat on Arinze Onuaku? He would have fit in perfectly with the Tigers system.

I've seen some embarrassingly bad air balled free throws before, but this effort from the charity stripe is the worst ... ever. It might not surprise you that Onuaku is 44% from the line. Even Joey Dorsey is impressed.

This was just one of the many highlights for Syracuse who managed to blow a 22-point second half lead to the Massachusetts Minutemen.

UMass 81, Syracuse 77

Wow.  You could tell on Boheim's face it was going to be bad, but that was something else.  Would it even have counted? He's standing on the other side of the free throw line.

At least he's not at a Dorsey level 37%...yet.

If that backboard was not there, that ball ends up in Lake Erie.

What is funny is that after the ball thudded against the backboard, it was so off line it didn't even hit the rim. That is special.
