Video of Tim Donaghy Game Fixing In Action
by CriticalFanatic
7/21/07

It all makes the incompetent officiating more clear.

Check out the final two plays of regulation where Tim Donaghy makes and fails to make the call. Dwyane Wade gets lightly bumped and heads to the line. Gerald Wallace drives the rack on the following possession, gets hammered, no whistle. I think we know where Tim had his money this night.

I'll be interested to hear NBA players respond, I'm sure this isn't much of a surprise.

Wow...I'm pretty glad the Bobcats still won that game, and Wallace stuck it to Donaghy.

What's the over/under on how long it takes for more names to come out?

I'll put it at a month, and I'll take the under. Hopefully the NBA cleans house well.

I've seen 100s of NBA games over the last few years where it's appears obvious there is a fix on. My guess is that the NBA will choose to cover up any more findings and deal with it in house instead of in public. I hope the FBI finds more refs so it will expose what I've been trying to tell people for years, pro sports are rigged.

I'd like to know where the score was at the time with regards to the spread and the over/under.

Funny you should mention over/under because that is exactly what Donaghy was betting on.

Apparently NBA refs had a lot of money on the Heat in the '06 Finals.

Donaghy didn't play the win, he bet on over/under.  The Bobcats obviously covered as they were supposed to lose.  I don't think this is a legitimate example, as 100% of NBA refs are going to call ticky tack fouls on Wade and ignore Wallace - superstar calls will always be around.
