Videos of the Year: Jake Brown Survives 50-foot X Games Fall
12/26/07

Shockingly, we've already entered this portion of the calendar. It's time to do that year in review sort of thing, so over the final days of 2007 we'll be looking back on the top sports events as highlighted by FanIQ. Since I'm hardly a wordsmith, you'll notice this amount to a video recap ...

We'll be rolling few several of this videos today seeing as how there's next to nothing to talk about. T-minus 6 hours until bowl game season resumes. I've never been so excited to see a mediocre Big Ten team and the MAC Champ square off.

Anyways, the X Games this summer featured on of the most startling videos I've even seen in sports. During the Big Air event, Jake Brown lost control of his skateboard and plummeted 50-plus feet landing violently on his back. 60% of falls from this height result in death. Brown merely walked it off. Astonishing.

Vince Carter nearly leaves on a stretcher after a hard foul.
