Jacksonville Jaguars Versus Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday Night Football Live Thread

You Too Can Audition To Be A Steelers Running Back
10/5/08
Pretty good Sunday Night Football game tonight, that is it would be if both of these teams were anywhere near healthy. After last week's gutty win against Baltimore, Pittsburgh pretty much has no running backs left. Willie Parker is still injured, Rashard Mendenhall is done for the season, and the Steelers fullback is also questionable for tonight. That leaves Mewelde Moore as the only healthy running back on the whole roster. If he goes down tonight, expect Mike Tomlin to pull fans out of the stands and send them out onto the field - even though they're in Jacksonville. The Steelers also lost O-lineman Kendall Simmons for the season last week, so you may see more of an air attack than normal from the Steelers.
The Jaguars, meanwhile, have pretty much played every game so far this season down to the wire. Their O-line has also been somewhat banged up making things tough on David Garrard. But at least they have healthy running backs.
As of right now, FanIQ has this game split 50/50 as to who will win. However, the experts are going with the Jags.
Feel free to chat it up here or on the game page.
